ECOLITHIC is the acronym of “A Radical Ecosystems View of Lithic Macro-Evolution” – a collaborative research project funded by the Volkswagen Foundation from 2025-2028 in its funding line Pioneering Research – Exploring the Unknown Unknown.
We stand at a precipice, where the intertwined crises of ecological degradation and the erosion of democratic institutions demand not just reform, but a radical reimagining of education as a powerful force in shaping planetary futures.
Professor Luci Attala, Deputy Executive Director of UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition, and Director of the UK Hub at University of Wales Trinity Saint David, has been selected by the Wales Arts and Humanities Alliance (WAHA) to participate in the Alliance for Research on Cultural Heritage in Europe event (ARCHE) in Brussels on March 5–6, 2025.
