We are not waiting: how young leaders are redefining climate justice

Expanding the BRIDGES Global Coalition: New Regional Programme Office Opens in India

The BRIDGES Directorate is delighted to announce the approval, confirmed at the recent Governing Council Meeting on 26 June 2026, of the establishment of a Regional Programme Office (RPO) for South Asia, located in Gift City, Gujarat, India, to be hosted by the TryfactaEDU Global Foundation. The BRIDGES Directorate and International Programme Office (IPO) at University of Wales Trinity Saint David will work closely with the Foundation to facilitate the establishment of the RPO, marking a significant expansion of the Coalition’s presence in the region.

2026 IDSSD Global Conference

The 2026 Global Conference of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD, 2024-2033) will take place from 15–17 July 2026 at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. As part of our commitment to the Decade, BRIDGES’ Founding Executive Director Steven Hartman will contribute to a session at the Global Conference which will focus on the critical contributions of social and human sciences to sustainable development and the science-policy nexus.
