The final day of The Club of Rome’s International Conference in China, ‘Earth-Humanity Reconciliation’ saw inspiring discussions continuing.
BRIDGES Executive Director participated in session 7 of the conference: Quantum, Al, biotechnology: Are they built for ecological civilisations? A key discussion on the role of cutting-edge technologies in achieving global sustainability and well-being within planetary boundaries, exploring how to harness these powerful tools to advance life, rather than just efficiency and traditional economic growth. 
The Closing Plenary, ‘International cooperation in pluralistic societies’ followed, discussing the need for a new era of international relations with insights from different continents focussing on how we can create real momentum for transformations across sectors and countries.
The "Earth-Humanity Reconciliation: The Club of Rome International Conference in China," ran from November 5-7, 2025. The focus was pathways toward ecological civilisations, a concept deeply rooted in the Club of Rome's work.
