UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES is built on a series of principles that advocate for a paradigm shift in the Euro-US-centric landscape of research and pedagogy. This broad ambition is anchored in realisations that, despite best intentions, sustainability science and the confidence in technological innovation are falling short of meaningfully addressing the UN SDGs. BRIDGES maintains that the implementation of humanities-driven transdisciplinary sustainability science offers a helpful alternative that is able to generate the innovative thinking required to address today’s polycrises in meaningful ways.

In the Mood for Poetic Futures

Welcome to a full, exciting and unprecedented poetic journey composed of an introductory poetic multiple performance, an inspiring roundtable with various poets from around the world to discuss the role of poetry and poetics to imagine and co-write possible desirable futures for tomorrow, followed by an open poetic mic where the audience will be invited to come on stage and share their poems in any possible language they wish.
