The BRIDGES Coalition invited to contribute to an internal consultation for the Zero Draft of the UN Pact for the Future

Coalition members provided written inputs that have been collected and synthesized as part of the preparation of a BRIDGES contribution to the Zero Draft of the Pact for the Future. This internal consultation was initiated in response to the broad invitation from the co-facilitators of the Summit of the Future to Major Groups and Other Stakeholders (MGoS), civil society networks and organisations, NGOs, the private sector and academia.

The Pact will be presented at the UN Summit of the Future in September 2024. 

The Summit is a high-level event, bringing world leaders together to forge a new international consensus on how we deliver a better present and safeguard the future. It will look at the “how” – how do we cooperate better to deliver on the above aspiration and goals? How do we better meet the needs of the present while also preparing for the challenges of the future?
