The UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition was proud to come together with Globethics and The Club of Rome for a youth consultation during the Global Ethics Forum in Geneva, 2-4 September 2024, in the lead up to the Summit of the Future and our side event From Idea to Action and Impact: mobilizing the outcomes of the Summit of the Future (Side Event, Action Day 2, Summit of the Future) | UN Web TV
Another pre-SOTF youth consultation workshop co-organized with LearningPlanet Alliance, UNESCO, School of International Futures (SOIF) and BRIDGES took place on 6 September at Learning Planet Institute in Paris, involving 50+ youth from all over the world.
Summary reports from both these consultations can be found here: Summit of the Future consultation reports - BRIDGES
Following up on the Summit and its outcomes (the Pact for the Future, the Declaration on Future Generations and the Global Digital Compact), this vital work will continue over the coming year.
Additional consultation workshops organized by these and other partners in our SOTF consortium are being planned throughout 2024 and early 2025, informing the preparation of a report for policymakers focused on implementation and impact. Including recommendations, this report will be prepared for the next ordinary session of the Intergovernmental Council of UNESCO’s Management of Social Transformations (MOST) programme in 2025.
