Summit of the Future consultation reports

A series of strategic dialogues and consultations with youth and various stakeholder groups from around the world have been co-organized by the UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition in the period pleading up to the Summit of the Future in New York (September 2024).

Two of these events took place at Learning Planet Institute in Paris, and were co-organized with UNESCO’s Futures Literacy and Foresight team, the secretariat of the Management of Social Transformations (MOST) programme and the School of International Futures (19 June and 6 September).

A third pre-SOTF consultation with international youth leaders was co-organized by BRIDGES, Globethics and the Club of Rome during the Global Ethics Forum on 3 September 2024.

Additional consultations following through on the Summit of the Future are planned in late 2024 and early 2025 following the UN Summit, and these will be co-organized together with various partner organizations in the BRIDGES-led consortium hosting a high-level side event, ‘From Idea to Action and Impact: mobilizing the outcomes of the Summit of the Future’, during the SOTF Action Days in New York.

Intended to foreground voices and perspectives of many actors who could not join the Summit of the Future in person, this series of consultations will serve as the basis of a policy report and recommendations framework anticipated to be delivered to the Intergovernmental Council of MOST in 2025.

Reports and outcome documents from the consultations organized during 2024-2025 are collected on this page.
