CASRI (2024-2027) is a Collaborative Action funded under Horizon Europe, aimed at coordinating and enhancing systemic, actionable and transversal Sustainability Research and Innovation. The CASRI consortium brings together Environment Protection Agencies (EPAs) and similar institutions from 14 European countries.
CASRI aims to better connect environmental and sustainability research of European environmental agencies and complement existing programs of the EU and member states. This is intended to promote innovative environmental research and to push the utilization of research findings and innovation.
BRIDGES Luci Attala is part of the CASRI group undertaking a co-design matchmaking process between potential funders/programme managers at national and European levels, to establish where research funding should be funnelled. This is based on a ‘bottom up prioritization process.’
Luci recently attended the “Info meeting” SRIA co-design process on 7 November 2025, led by Marie-Christine Dictor, Corinne Merly, discussing the SRIA co-design roadmap, co-design process, and CASRI selected topics, which cover a broad range of environmental and sustainability areas.
