Event Overview
StadtLandFluss #01 is the first event of a new series, inviting the local community to explore a day of harvesting, learning, and food centred around traditional orchard meadows (Streuobst).
Programme Schedule
09:00 - 13:00 | Harvest: Meeting point at the Schaffhausen Gasworks Site, followed by group harvesting of apples and pears in nearby orchard meadows with insights from local scientists and experienced experts.
13:00 - 14:30 | Mechanical Cider Pressing in Buchtalen: Harvested fruit can be pressed into cider for a small fee (please bring your own containers; pasteurizers are available at the Gaswerkareal).
15:00 - 16:00 | Traditional Cider Pressing Workshop: Focused on traditional hand pressing and fermentation methods.
18:00 - 22:00 | Tavolata at the Gasworks Site: Hosted by Kugelbistro, featuring a seasonal and regional multi-course menu created especially for the event, accompanied by freshly pressed sweet cider, an art performance about regional folklore, and surprise guests.
