The Art of Hoping is a project from The Fifth Element which anchors our Club of Rome Hub, and the Club of Rome.
This is a call for artists from all around the globe!
The project is looking for art that responds to the theme of hope.
The Art of Hoping is accepting the following formats of art:
Think about art that imagines how the systems we live in could change for a fairer, more regenerative future. Work that portrays what hope means to you, what makes you feel hopeful…
Art that can inspire hope in return, helping individuals, institutions and communities cultivate the imagination, capability and collective agency needed for regenerative and hopeful futures.
The Art of Hoping welcomes everything from quiet, personal expressions of hope to bold visions of systemic change.
Selected pieces will be shared in an online exhibition and a curated selection will be displayed at the in-person Club of Rome conference “No Limits to Hope: Sense-making for alternative futures.”
Submission deadline: 30 September 2026
This project is linked to ‘No Limits to Hope’, which explores how learning can become a driving force for cultural and systemic renewal, helping individuals, institutions and communities cultivate the imagination, capability and collective agency needed for regenerative and hopeful futures.
