New Project: "Zoogestures"

News from Multidisciplinary Environmental Studies in the Humanities (MESH)

The Volkswagen Foundation is funding ZOOGESTURES, a new project on interspecies learning and technical invention in early human evolution with 1.3 million euros over four years. The project is co-led by MESH researcher Dr. Shumon T. Hussain (Cologne), philosopher and anthropologist of technology Dr. Johannes Schick (Siegen) and cognitive primatologist Prof. Dr. Cat Hobaiter (St Andrews, UK).
