We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to become a UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Hub.
The BRIDGES Coalition is a unique global programme aimed at fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and the promotion of social transformation efforts worldwide. BRIDGES connects research, policymaking and community development to address pressing global challenges. Anchored in UNESCO’S, Management of Social Transformations (MOST) programme, BRIDGES provides evidence-based policy recommendations developed through transdisciplinary, humanities-inclusive sustainability science research.
We are now accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) to establish UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Hubs from organisations, institutions and/or foundations. Ideal hub candidates will have profiles encompassing research, education and science-policy missions that advance transformations to sustainable social and ecological systems. BRIDGES places a premium on dialogue, exchange and co-creation of knowledge among diverse societal partners.
What are UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Hubs?
BRIDGES hubs are the operational arm of an international initiative that transcends borders and enhances efforts at a range of scales to mobilise academic communities in the humanities, arts and other human science and social science-orientated communities of knowledge and action in the sustainability science space.
Becoming a UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES hub will position your organisation/institution at the forefront of global efforts, within the United Nations system, to foster meaningful transformative change in the service of long-term social and ecological sustainability.
