The 6th Congo Research Network Conference: ‘CONGOLESE HORIZONS: WEAVING TEMPORALITIES IN CONGO STUDIES’

The Congo Research Network (CRN) organised its sixth international conference themed, “Congolese Horizons: Weaving Temporalities in Congo Studies,” held at The Africa Institute, Global Studies University (GSU), Sharjah, UAE, on 29 – 31 January, 2025.

Nsah Mala, Postdoctoral Researcher and Hub Coordinator, UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition, University of Cologne Hub, presented a talk on ‘Multiple Temporalities and Futures in the Congo Basin’ on Friday, January 31, in the Panel titled ‘Embodied Memory and Postcolonial Mobility’.

The conference was open to the public and held in English, with French interpretation available on-site.
