Concert, images and voices with Patricia Gualinga and Grupo Sal
State-of-the-art development policy impulses and information from all over the world are combined with wonderful music by Grupo Sal and fascinating projections by Johannes Keitel. The overall project consists of a series of live conversations with researchers, activists and politicians from continents involved in major social and environmental policy debates.
Their voices are offered a stage to share their views and perspectives that are important for society with the German public.
This modern concept was inspired by “Pluriverso”, a lexicon of post-development that Alberto Acosta co-published in 2019.
Together with journalist Sandra Weiss, Alberto Acosta and Grupo Sal invited Patricia Gualinga from Ecuador via live stream to present and discuss forward-looking thoughts, ideas and concepts.
A cooperation of the cultural office Grupo Sal, the Volkshochschule Köln, infoe.e.V., Verein Köln - Yarinacocha, Archdiocese of Cologne, Klimabündnis and Global South Studies Center of the University of Cologne, a lead partner in the BRIDGES University of Cologne Hub for Planetary Wellbeing.
