The fourth University of Cologne Sustainability Forum is devoted to the question of how global ecological challenges can be combined with social and ecological justice, participation and planetary responsibility.
Under the theme "Sharing a Planet - Sustainability Transitions and Environmental Justice", sustainability takes the centre stage as a comprehensive social transformation process, recognizing ecological boundaries while addressing equitable access to resources, knowledge and decision-making.
The program includes two lectures on science, a panel discussion on the main topic of the forum, a poster gallery and four workshops.
Keynote Speakers include Prof Dr Kate Rigby, Director of the BRIDGES Hub for Planetary Wellbeing, University of Cologne.
