Climate change is often described in numbers - degrees, parts per million, sea-level projections. But what does planetary disruption actually feel like?
As part of MOST Social Transformations Week at UNESCO Headquarters, we're delighted to invite you to a special evening performance of "Anthropocene," a creative theatre piece by Arizona State University students.
The performance translates the abstract scale of the climate crisis into a visceral, human-scale experience, inviting us not just to understand the Anthropocene intellectually, but to inhabit it emotionally.
It stands as a powerful counterpoint to the day's policy discussions, embodying a conviction at the heart of the UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition: the humanities and the arts are not decoration to scientific and policy work, they are vital instruments for collective meaning-making in the face of planetary change.
